    Default westin tomorrow night...anybody?

    its 5 bucks to get to the top. I want to get there before sundown. I had planned on getting there tonight but beer got in the way. Actually, rain got in the way, and beer just made it harder for me to want to drive down.

    So maybe 8pm at the westin?

    yeah i meant tonight. but i posted like this time last night. but with no replies, and the rain, i wasn't about to head down there. this weather blows. I don't want to shoot through the windows with water beads on the outside. lame. some other time i suppose?

    Glass was very dirty, glass in the elevator up still needs replacing

    i was more worried about water beads on the outside from the rain. but its that dirty?

    how does it work anyway? I have yet to see pictures of the room you stand in to look out. Does the building have its own floor dedicated just for observation?

    I dunno if you've been to the Sundial or not, but its just a little floor above the dining room, in the same room. they have their own stationary telephoto binoculars, which is probably why they call it an observatory. I couldnt get any pictures that didnt have massive glare. even with my polarizer on. Excellent place to sit down and eat though if you're bringing some dough

    hrm. lame. i was hoping for it to be way better than that. well, its still worth it to check out i guess. they were cool with tripods? this is the only observatory in atlanta right?

    No one said anything to me about my tripod. And I havent looked for any other observatories yet, but Im sure I could find something
