IPhone Photo Delete Question?

Okay, I have 2 albums on my phone, one with pics I have taken with my iphone which it lets me delete those pics, then I have pics that copied over from my old phone which wont let me delete from the phone.

Even when I sync with the ITunes or the Laptop, The file that has the pics from the old phone dont show up, how do you delete a whole group of pics that were not from the iphone?

That, or make an empty folder, name it pictures or something and sync your phone to that
