yeah its slick. i think there is a newer version of it on canon's website than the one you have pictured there. there should be a "bulb shooting" option right on the bottom of that dialog box.

What lenses do you have with the 5dmkii?

it came with the 24-105L and i have a 50 1.8 from my xti days. all the other lenses are incompatible EF-S lenses. I want to get some other lenses. I would like something wider than 24, and I would like something longer than 105, but just having dropped 3500 on this a couple weeks ago, that won't happen any time soon. A friend let me tool around with his 85 1.2 the other day - wow. that thing is a tank. Also, another great thing is not having to figure the lens crop factor...the focal length is the focal length, no more of this x1.6 rubbish.

I have 75k shots on my XTI. The shutter button no longer focuses, it only releases the shutter so I have to use the grip button to focus. I do find myself shooting more portrait shots now because of that lol! I need to do the custom setup/hack on it so I can use the thumb button as the focus like the 5d's have.

What I need is a H1 hummer to drive over this thing then take a picture of it. I think it's time to take off the training wheel and step up the game because the shots I'm doing now are way too much of a struggle for mediocre results.

I can only imagine what the 85mm f/1.2 is like! Ideally all I want is a 24-70 f/2.8L and maybe the 35mm f/1.4 with a 5DMkii. I'll sell my 300mm f/4.0L to get it if I have to.

Have you shot video with it yet? The HD video with a 50mm f/1.8 HD is incredible...DOF!
