nikon has really good customer service. call em up, tell them your problem, and then send it in.

i bought a used d70s on craiglist and the shutter failed 2 days later. i was such an idiot. anyways, i sent it in, but since i bought it used i had to pay 215 dollars to get it fixed. they had it back to me in no time.

or, you could just buy a d3x.

its not worth spending 215 bucks to get this camera fixed. i see them go for 250 bucks used online

nah no d3x, they are for studio only shooters, they dont handle high ISO's well. maybe ill get a normal d3 though
