Photography on the Net (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/index.php) Is a great forum for Canon users new and old. great choice on the camera I love mine. I do recommend getting used to the Manual Mode, it will turn out the best results for you photographs (other than I never really knew what the AV & TV modes were when I got mine and have still yet to use them), also don't be afraid to look through on of the 2 manuals (English & Spanish)that were given to you w/ the camera.

Also for processing your photos all you really need is Adobe Light Room 2
