seriously, if they didn't focus on having stores in malls, they probably would be fine. mall rent has to be one of the big problems, then since they are paying so much for rent, they have to jack up their prices, and then people just buy online at b&h. its a vicious cycle.
sucks for them, but it's not really a surprise
A chapter 11 (which is what they will probably file for reorganization) doesn't mean that they will go completely out of business.
K-Mart filed a chap. 11 years ago and they are still around (less stores, though). Wolf has too many outlets for what has become a specialized store with such high(er) prices. There are like 5 or 6 within 30 minutes of me... and the only thing that sticks out in my mind when I think of them is that stuff costs ~40% more there than online
