he was a rescue from charleston, sc. a shelter had him up there.
the deal is, a few months prior to getting juneau (pup in pics), i lost my purebred husky, nikita. had him for 15 years! well, one of my neighbors works with an Atlanta pet adoption agency, and one of their partners had him on their site for adoption. the neighbor brought him to my attention, so my dad and i rode up there to get him. he's about a year and a half old now.

well, this one's nutless lol, so he's not agressive with us, HOWEVER he's extremely protective. make sure people know that.How is the agression level?
so far, yes. the only set back is that he's so much bigger than most other dogs he's come in contact with and he doesnt know how to play "nicely" so to speak. to him, he's just having fun and not being malicious AT ALL, but he ends up discouraging other dogs to return to play.... i'm waiting for teh chance to take him to the dog park... LOL that should be an experience!Play well with other dogs?
he LOVES kids!!! but again, just be careful due to the sheer size of the animal. he can hurt small children by jumping up on them and not even realize he did it. thats one thing i'm trying to break him of is jumping up to hug ppl lol...Play well with kids?

Be sure to check your state laws on privately owning wolf-hybrids before you volunteer to keep one, especially if you're not from Tennessee. In Georgia, for random example, wolf-hybrids are considered to be wolves, and fall under the legal designation of "wild animal"- you need special licensure to own one. Most veterinarians in Georgia will not treat wolf-dogs at all, not even for vaccination. Moreover, if you decide to chance it and keep one anyway, your dog can be confiscated and destroyed for absolutely no reason at all. Your neighbor might not like the way the dog looks, or someone down the street may be offended by the howling at night. Your family-member could be killed over something that trivial.

Beautiful dog man. I've always loved these dogs. I have a siberian wolf hybrid black/white with blue eyes and a female siberian hybrid black and brown with brown eyes.
