i definitely understand the purist point of view as well. it makes sense to not use it as a crutch.

my professor feels the same way and understands both sides. he emphasizes that a picture should be taken right the first time, but there are some things in the post-processing field that you just simply cannot do without an editing program. the things i have shown should have been taken behind the lens, but he wants us to be familiar with the program for future projects. the class is weighed heavily on composition and subject placement. those things are really not "photoshoppable" if you will lol.
