If you share the same affinity for certain arthropods [includes insects], post away.

I saw this little bugga this morning. --nastiest thing I've ever seen [well, close to it]. Let me know, if you know what it's called.

Oh and, I was good and released it outside.

I used to run for the can of Raid 'cause I liked seeing it shrivel up and fall apart with all the detached legs squirming everywhere. I let this one go since he let me snap a shot of him.

Every other time I've seen these little guys, they've been lightning fast. This one wasn't that quick. It may have been on its last leg.

Yeah, I was thinking the same, since a millipede would require a thousand legs.

Have em here at work alll the time...We call them Hundred Leggers hahaha of all things. We have those, silverfish (nasty big ones), and we killed a "cow killer" red velvet ant about 2 months ago.

No I wouldn't kill it, it's too beautiful to go to waste.
I would capture it in a bag/small box and set it free.

Would you write a poem about the hardships all these beautiful bugs go through?

I'd kill it twice if I could. I know theres a bajillion more out there so one less isn't gonna affect anything.

    There's an irritating creature
    in my living room today,

    it's been here for now,
and it will not go away.
The first time that I saw it,
it was in my easy chair.
    and displayed no inclination
    to forsake its station there.
I put it in a parcel.
And left it at the store
the thing was there to greet me.
when I opened up my door,
I took it to the forest,
and tied it to a tree,
I found it in my kitchen
    having sandwiches and tea.
I packed it in a carton
to disguise its size and shape,
I wrapped it and I stamped it
and I sealed it shut with tape.
    I mailed it to the
    on a mountain in Tibet,
I returned to see it sitting
    on my brand-new TV set.
I concealed it in a rocket
that was bound for outer space,
it was back that very evening
with a smile upon its face.
It appears I can't evict it,
though I truly wish I could,
    it's entirely too tenacious-
I suspect it's here for good!

in he past every 1st week on june the house would become INFESTED with centipedes. we would have THOUSANDS in the basement! on the floor, walls, celling...everywhere!!! Words cant describe the amount! AND I feel that leaving the door had NOTHING to do with it cuz it happened before that!

Got those in the basement, they're usually up on the wall just chilling out.

I leave em alone and hope they find their way out before the bug man gets here lol.
