    Got mine spayed at 6 mos on the dot. I didn't want to have to deal with the mess, much less the potential puppies!

    Good stuff, the Georgia SPCA offers low cost spay & neuter if any of you are interested.

    They do it for like $40 I believe. I had all my cats and dogs done thru this program, can't remember, but it was cheap, too.
