Default Mr. Clean's '85 Dubble Wyde build thread!

    12/20 NEW PICS PAGE 4

Yeah so there's a fairly large story behind this thing but basically, Ms. Clean's dad offered us this place for $350/month. It's out behind her grandma's house in Cumming on about an acre of so of land. They lived in it way back in the day but it has been rented out for about the last 17 years and obviously the trashy renters that have been there didn't give a shit about the place. It needs a TON of work and er dad is fronting the money for most everything we've done and then if all goes as planned when the rent that we pay every month pays off that debt then we're rent free. it's a fucking long way from my work, but it's cheap and it's a hou- err trailer, whatever. The stigma behind living in a trailer is pretty hard for me so I think I'm trying to make this place as nice as I can so I don't feel as though I am lowering my standards as I have always had pretty decent place of residence so this is my story haha.

    so far we've

    -fixed gaping holes in floor
    -painted all rooms
    -new carpet throughout
    -new linoleum throughout
    -new fixtures
    -deck/porch repairs
    -gutter repair
    -new doors and locks
    -replacement windows
-re leveled driveway (3 dump trucks of gravel )
    -window treatments

    UPDATE 12/11:
    -all new mini-blinds
    -new oven
    -outside lighting

    and to come:

    -kitchen cabinet revamp
    -exterior paint
    -car port cover thing (canopy)
    -sidewalk to front porch
    -porch repaint
    -pressure wash from hell
    -exterior sprucing
    -replace sliding glass door
    - probably tons more that i can't/don't want to think of

Here's the first day and it yes the paint is REDONKULOUS! the paint in all the rooms was so thick that we were peeling paint off the walls in huge sheets. it was awful. and sorry for the awful pics, i can't ever remember to get out my tripod. but yeah the anyway here's where we started:

kevin, daniel, and derick came over and ripped some paint down with me lol, kevin was able to hide against my wall with the paint stretched around him and kevin ain't so skinny kid lolol

    thanks juuu guys! geez.

    AFTER SOME MORE PEELING:
