The pictures suck horriblly but I've been working on this pond for the past 8 months... the water recently has cleared up a lot more. Majority of these fish are japanese Koi and goldfish/shubunkins.
8 Months Later!

nice work, make sure those rocks don't all in and hurt one of the fish! I have no clue but isn't that a lot of fish for that size of a pond?
i have always wanted a koi pond. that looks nice.
yea... direct sunlight would spawn algae and do that to your pond.
i'm surprise your koi coexist with the other species like that.
We have koi out in the back and i remember introducing fantails to the pond and the koi would rip all of their tails/dorsal fins.
You actually can but they are quite expensive and don't taste any good! Not that I know from experience but I would NEVER!Originally Posted by Benefit

The rocks have been there for some time now and I step over them all the time, one has yet to fall in. (crosses fingers)Originally Posted by Nittanys1
Also the pond is almost 1,700 gallons and 4 ft deep, the fish like to come together when its feeding them so it looks more crowded then it really is.

How much are KOI btw?

Koi depend on their specialty and how rare they are, mine are more common then anything. The big one would run around for about $450.
