My pic of ridges on a quarter. With a reverse mounted Rebel kit lens.
And a pic I took for an IA photography challenge if anyone remembers this.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

it's a reverse mounted lens, I'm not to worried about the quality of it being backwards, and it was supposed to have that glowy effect on purpose. Also, the cignette was photoshopped in to bring your eye towards the center.Originally Posted by Nemesis

Purple fringe is related to poor glass quality, backwards or forwards, glass is glass. Im not talking about that "glowy" effect.Originally Posted by 87 Turbo II
I realize what it is. The purple fringe is is on the edge of nearly blown out highlights, this is why I referred to it as a glowy effect. They aren't really purple, just as dimes aren't really gold-ish, there is a hue change in the photo. True, this still leaves a color fluctuation, however the lens is engineered so that the light travels through it the other way, where it better fights fringing that's really minimal in the pictures. Either way, the only remedy is to spend money, which I don't have right now.Originally Posted by Nemesis
