    thats a man called a lineman. he checks and repairs electrical lines. when hes 6 ft away from the lines hes ok, but when hes 6ft within the boundaries of the lines he must use a metal pole to transfer electricity from the lines to the helicopter so he doesnt get electricuted.

    Damn, beat me to it.

    He's a Journeyman Lineman. That suit he's wearing is actually metallic. The pole does transfer electricity to the chopper and the suit.

    I work for an comercial/industrial electrical company, but I'm no Electrician.
