    Default Mercedes Museum Pics

I wanted to share with some of you the pics I took @ the Mercedes Museum last week. We planned on going to the Porsche Museum & Factory but did not have the time to. I'm a noob when it comes to pics, but I figured if you're a car guy, you'll still appreciate the old stuff and the collection of old and new Silver Arrow race cars in the Museum. I took the pics with my digi cam. I did the best I could, lol.

I was busy doing this all weekend so the guys and I didn't get a chance to visit the Porsche Museum.

The last 3 pics are from www.italiaslot.it and are not mine.

The entire weekend was a blast. If for some reason some of you guys want the full image, just let me know.

I went to that museum a few years ago... great pictures! It bothers me that they put all the race cars up on a wall so that you can't really get close to them. I'd love to get a better look at the Sauber cars. Oh well. Is that the slot car world championship? Do they really have those?

I bet there's some crazy technology wound up in those little things.

Yea I wanted to get really close to the C9 and the C11, but you really can't.

It's Ninco's world championships. Ninco is a 1:32 slot brand from Spain and hold this tournament every year. Three of us from Atlanta qualified in the US Nationals in Baltimore this past October to compete as Team USA. It was a free trip lol.

There are plenty of championships over in Europe, and it's really big over there and starting to gain momentum here in the US. The big thing here is 1:24 racing, and not much 1:32 scale racing goes on around here other than in private slot clubs. The cars used were the 997 GT3 RS's made by Ninco. It only made sense since the race was in Stuttgart
