    Default Piece I started working on tonight...

    I know I give a lot of you guys crap about your stuff, seeing as how I'm a "snobby art school bitch", so I thought you might wanna see some of my stuff. I started this about 5 hours ago... it started as a stack of ten 22x28 posterboards... taped them together 2 high by 5 wide (total dimensions 44" tall by 140" long), turned them over and spackled the WHOLE thing... yes, I said spackle. Covered the tape lines a bit and gave the whole thing a really interesting texture. If I like the way this turns out, it's gonna be entered in an erotic art contest (deadline's Dec 14 so I have pleeenty of time). The idea is basically going to be the "sexy" aspects of the female form... all pretty desaturated/monochromatic, save for one part of the image block... this is the first part of it done... dark face with bright red lips. I hope the rest of it keeps coming this well.. I really like where it's heading.

    And yes, I have my flame suit on if you feel like doing so... I'll take what you say into consideration, but I can guarantee you that you guys are nowhere near as much of a critic of my work as I am. Sorry for the crappy phone pic... better pics will be done upon completion, and I'll keep you guys posted on progress.

    Looks good for the most part, the shadows are a bit strong for me but that's just my style.

    lol good call sir. I intentionally did that to cover the fact that the texture is making it extremely difficult to keep an even stroke going.... I'm probably going to go in with a little white/lighter colors later and make a "middle" ground.. there's high and low values.. I need some middles.
