Why? Because before most people knew what JDM was I was loving kits on minitrucks and sport compacts back in the late 80's early 90's. Personal preference. Why do I care about how fast I am going on the street. This car will be a DD. If I wanna race then I will wait until next year and join up with WERA on 2 wheels. Not knockin JDM but some people are too young to remember when the Escort GT was the hottest sport compact, yes even hotter than the civic(EF hatch). When kits were rare to be seen.

I appreciate the job. It's weird because I finally got the H22 in the Accord and probably will just leave it alone without the kit. If it wasn't a DD I would definitely go ahead but I don't feel like being careful in my DD. Thank u's to everyone and reps too.

As for the comment about the Escort GT being the hottest thing. Coming from that era myself, I will have to disagree. Although it was quite popular, the hottest car back then was the mid to late 80's Nissan Sentra, mid 80's Camaro and the mini truck. The Escort GT was a hail of a strong car(my bro-in-law had 2). the kit will look clean, but you have a 4door...might not look as nice. But, dont stick the kit on without a full paintjob. if u just paint the bumpers and not the car...stick to buford hwy.

some kits flow very well with certain cars. and when done right look fantastic. Some kits are a bit out there with all the extra holes, flares, cut outs.

You know it's sad that just because someone wants to put an aero kit on a car, they get asked "are you mexican."
I hope kits do comeback but also I do agree that some of the kits are just wayyyyyyy out there.
