I wouldn't really say that I am an animal lover but we do have a few pets mostly because my industry pretty much requires me to help injured animals and get them back to their natural habitat more than you would imagine.
As well as it pays call it what ya will.
The owl is a "Barred Owl" which was brought to us after someone hit it with a truck on the Hwy. It took 2 months with it before we set it free but it didn't go far because we hear it almost every night. Kinda cool hearing it since it is the one that makes the call that has been referred to as "who cooks for you" by the National Wildlife Association.
I would consider myself more of a camera/traveling lover but animals are a part of my career.
The cow tongue is actually from The Animal Safari down near Pine MT., Ga and it is a blast to drive through if you have never been before especially if you have kids.
