The year of 1776 was a year of several milestones. The weening of the United States of America took place in this year. Thomas Paine wrote Common Sense early in the year. Also, in that year, the first college fraternity formed. Now, are fraternities and sitting around the den studying all night and weekends synonymous with each other? No. How about fraternities and beer and partying and sex? You bet your $15 Wal-Mart jeans they are. So what better place to promote safe sex and help drive the pregnancy rate down than by selling your wares in an area known to have sexual prowesses. There will be a lot of parties, a lot of booze and a lot of Girls Gone Wild in the next couple of months with the onset of a new school year. America does not need any more unplanned pregnancies, unwanted children or college drop-outs so Wal-Mart, recognizing this, does it's share by putting safe sex instruments out on the floor and marking them down to be more attractive to the not so thoughtful college goers.
Anything else? Later, QD.
