Ok well decided to jump on the bandwagon and try some night shots as well. First time ever shooting at night and just did some quick ones to try it out.

Do you mind me asking what aperture and shutter speed you were shooting with? I have alot of trouble dealing with lighting issues even at mid-evening.

Just play with it, it depends on the light source, conditions, and more specifically the lens...he cheated though, he's got a f/2.8 lens that allows tons of light in With my f/3.5-5.6 kit I have to use practically double the shutter speed to collect the same amount of light.

Another note is use your timer function or remote, just that little movement of pushing the button when doing a 2 to 4+ second exposure will make it blurry or soft.

To practice try putting it on ISO 200 at f/5.6 or whatever your minimum aperture is with a 4 second shutter if there is no direct light in the picture and 2 seconds if you're looking at a light source....Every single shot changes though, i've shot cars up to 10 second exposures before using an f/1.8 lens.

    Nice Matt.

I like the water fountain and the bench pics the best. Isn't that the same spot you shot the Elite girls at??? Looks like a cool place.
