I totally agree. I tried several different settings to try and neutralize that orange glow from the old school bug be gone flourescents, but no dice. The second location had a ton of street and park lights, but atleast there they were white..... That was actually the hardest thing about the second place was trying to dodge the lights enough to take the pics. They were every where.

It's all cool though, because I got a lot of very needed practice plus hungout with my boy who's been MIA for a while.....

    Matt: Thanks.

    Rich: Will do....

Those are not what I expected when entering a "1st try" thread. WTFreak???

My 1st try a night shooting looked nothing like these . Instead lots of blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrr & NO image. You took awesome shots! Love the surreal images in the 1st set and the Matrix building has always been my favorite, nice that you got shots of it.

    Keep up the good work!

I believe the shutter goes a little later than usual on night shot? Atleast thats how it works on my little peice of shit camera lol

When I first tried taking night shot pics, I clicked then moved the camera just like I normally would. I found out the hard way that you had to sit there for a split second longer.

    +1 for the pics
