    Default Vectorizing

Is there any straight forward easy simple way to do vectorizing other than the whole tracing/layering job in photoshop?

considering PS isnt designed to handle vector graphics very well if at all; I would fire up Illustrator CS2 and give the livetrace tool a try. And if livetrace doesnt work, at least your in a program deisgned to work with vectors, not bitmaps. Good luck and post whatever you are doing

I think we need to find a download for Illustrator. I'm pretty good at doing vector stuff in photoshop, but I agree that it is kinda pointless to do it in PS.
