    Anyone that loves photography will appreciate the precision of the photo. As the jets are probably moving at around 400 mph and you being just right to get the shot at that instant. And that is a hard formation to stay at as the ones in the "S" are just a little graduated degree behind the next one and staying that way to maintain the formation.

    It is a great photo of an Air Force training squadron flying in a never-done-before "USA" formation over the control tower "Taj Mahal" (HQ building) of Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

    I thought it was pretty cool...

    hey kelly, did ya know they took gullible out of the dictionary at the last reprint?

    MSgt. Lee Roberts of the public affairs office of Randolph Air Force Base expressed more than a little exasperation when I queried him as to the authenticity of this photo. "I'm getting inundated with email on this subject," he said, and urged me to spread the word: "The flyby never took place. The photo is an illustration."

    oh yeah, the "never-done-before" formation was performed in 1934 with 37 bi-planes as part of the film "West Point of the Air."

    it looks a little photochopped to me, and the plans look like FA18s, which is a Navy bird, not AF. Cool pic (real or fake, still cool)...
