wow man thats crazy i think if something like that happend to me it would totally change my life i think i would do things that i was scared to do before just cause of how close to death you came. props for staying strong man youll get through it for sure.

you are one lucky guy... congrats on the recovery.. i dont know what i would have done if 2 guys ran up on my with a pistol.. most likely what you did since you probably thought your life ewas about to end, might as well try to change that right? although i guess i probably would have kept hitting them and tried to get a gun.. a while back 2 of my friends where i live in Dunwoody, GA, were kidnapped and driven out to the middle of nowhere to be shot in the back of the head for a "gang anitiation".... one was instaltly shot in the back of the head when they were taken out of the car.. the other ran like a bat out of hell and got shot twice.. he managed to run/swim home over 20 miles.. lucky to be alive.. it's sad that there's evil horrible people that will just shoot you..they all deserve to rot in the deepest darkest part of hell.

imagine if he had one? 2 guys woulda rolled up on him and either gotten blasted immedietly or put in their fucking place. there's too many sick people in this world to not have some sort of protection on you.

I'm glad I am ALWAYS carrying a .45 and a .380 backup gun. Had a couple of gangbangers (unarmed-they better be glad) try to rob me once. Let's just say it didn't work out.

I'm still skeptical about carrying, a majority of the incidences involves guns that aren't even real, unloaded, or someone that doesn't really want to hurt anyone...then you have the others solely with that intention. The more i'm downtown carrying around X $$$ of camera equipment the more I think it's wise...not a bit worried about myself but I just don't want anyone i'm around hurt and will do anything to prevent that. You pull a gun out to kill, not to threaten. Haven't done it in a while but i'm sure I could field strip a glock and assemble it faster than most on here -- i'm comfortable with them, would use it if I had to but I guess you could call me Macgyver when it comes to it, i'd rather find another option...

There's alot of screwed up people in the world and I just hope they all get what they deserve. My mom was shot and murdered, the guy was sentenced 30 years, and he walked in 8. The wonderful Florida judicial system: violent criminals are released early to make room for drug smugglers yet for misdemeanor and minor felony drug charges all you get it a ticket and probabation, don't even get a ride to the local sheriff's bed & breakfast. If they find a roach or seed in your car here you automatically go to jail, court, bond out...sentencing, back to jail and/or probabtion, etc.

Some things work out, some don't, just wish natural selection would run it's course more often...
