    but me personally, i would not miss my own engagement party with someone i love and want to be with.

    I'll fill in for him at the party, then he can resume at the wedding. how about that? lol

    he is in Zurich right now for work and "said" he would be back tonight..but now all of a sudden things change and he isnt going to be back in time.

    iyeah you can be mad, but if its a legitimate circumstance that he cant arrive on time from germany,then you should at the same time be understanding. the engagement is a big thing to miss, but lets make sure he's on time for the wedding itself.

    I'm not sure what the circumstances were that he wont be albe to make it, but maybe it was something that he couldnt have a playing hand in like airline delay or something ( unless he was just vague about it )
