georgia tech..? i dont go there but want to.. is it a hard school to get into and is it expensive

i graduated from tech a few yrs back, majored in EE, but i'm downtown and around the area a lot still. i drive a 99 4dr gsr

i work for HP computers up in alpharetta actually. but I DJ every week at this spot downtown called the Royal Peacock (caribbean/reggae club), and I still drop off music at WREK 91.1FM (had a radio show on there for like 8 yrs)...so I'm always in the area...
when i was at Tech i couldnt study in the library for some reason...lol. my spots were the bottom floor of Van Leer, up in OIT (I used to work for them so I had a cube in there), or over in Student Services...
Yeah, I usually go to Van Leer if I want to study, but usually I'm browsing the net in the library.

I think I got you beat. I'm on IA for atleast 2-4hrs a day. It's just boring as hell on campus.

i will be transferring to tech next fall. i go to uga now - yeah yeah, it's a rival school, but i love the campus and have alot of friends here.

lol well i go to valdosta state university right now, doing the pre-engineering transfer program. so in 2-3 years(whichever i want more or less) ill be transferring to GA Tech, vsu does not offer an engineering degree. i could transfer to other schools but ill be at GT in..fall 2009. i wanna get my gpa up and try and save up a bit of money living in a cheaper town. used to drive a modded 97 tsi awd, now i have a truck and wont get a car untill i pay it off.
heh wish me luck the classes i gotta take here are gonna be hard as hell and im sure it only gets worse up there.

Do you guys ever see the boosted grey RX-8? I havent seen it much this year but at least once a week all of last year. There are finally a couple of Evos on campus too, used to be overrun by WRXs and STis.

Yeah there are plenty of nice cars on GT campus like a few Sti's that be driving around makin alot of noise.

Where does the money figure in? Tech's a really cheap school if you're in state.

she was outta state for the first year...BONKERS! but yeah it's an affordable school. more reasonable than devry. shit actually i think it's 10k less than devry. i know AUI is like 65k total.
