    He's probably someone that somewhat believes in god. I know allot of people that dont go by the book. Personally I think the whole book is a fairy tale. Did they have gambling back then?     funny you bring this up, while the answer may seem clearcut, i think it still depends somewhat on how you look at it.

    the bible depicts greed (covetousness) that motivates ppl to gamble as SIN. however, i guess if one could gamble without greed......(as oxymoronic as that may sound, consider the case of professional poker player barry greenstein. he plays cash poker games to live off of,and then donates all of his tournament winnings to charity)
