I found this write up tonight on tuning Nitro R/C cars. If you have one and don't know how to tune it yourself, you might find this read interesting...

    Check it out...

It's a team associated nitro tc3. 1:10th scale. I haven't had it for that long. Long enough to run through a set of foamies and get the engine broken in pretty good... (it nad a fairly new upgraded one when i bought it used) I don't race it yet, I'm still learning how to tune it good and adjust suspension etc... I'm gonna get some cones and set up a track in a parking lot near my house to drive on with some friends. If anyone wants to join us let me know. we could set up monthly races or something. Don't really know of anywhere else to race and i'm not good enough yet to want to find a real race setup...

I actually want to drift too. I just bought some rubber tires that are less grippy than the foamies that i had before. I almost bought some drift tires but the guy i bought the car from, who also works at the local hoby shop, told me that i wouldn't really get anywhere with the drift tires and might be better off getting regular rubber tires since my car is pretty high powered and doesn't need drift tires to drift. We'll see how that goes. I'll probly buy a set of drift tires in the future and just swap them out whever i wana drift but i liek atleast some grip so...

I'll report on how the tuning goes this morning... It'll be my first time tuning when i actually know what im' doing . The car runs now but bogs a tad on starts...
