i dont think the puppys will come out great ..
You should wait stevo- a female should go through at least one heat cycle (about 1 yr old) and at the second one would be the first time you could consider breeding her- but I've heard you should wait still wait one more
So if you translate this into the male life- I would say wait until he is at least 1 or even 1 and 1/2 to breed him with your female.
    What do you think?

new baby soon- I can understand that- it would be different if you already had a dog- but to have two babies in the house, that will be nutts for her
Perhaps think of it this way; while you are off at work during the day, she'll have to deal with two babies- all by her self- I wouldn't recomend getting a dog until the new baby (or the planned one) is at least 4/5 years old or get the dog an wait until it is at least 2/3 years old (my dog is 3 years old and he's just now starting to calm down and behave himself)

new human babies are the #1 cause of pound puppies

oh and if she is concidering a yorkie- I hope she likes poop- they are known for pooing in the house (well into adulthood- not just puppy hood)
does all this sound reasonable? I think any dog can be trained poorly; but I think timing is more important

I'm not vouching this guy, but my GF's bestfriends BF is selling pits for $200 a piece.. he has 11 of them..

thing is his dumb country ass hasn't taken them to get their first SHOTS, DEWORMED, or flea baths....

she's already told him, if he did that, he'd sell them.. other than that... it's sad b/c they may die..

if you want his number, I'll get it for you and maybe you can deal his dumbass down

I told her she wouldn't have to do anything at all with the dog, I would put him in daycare just like my daughter...her mom has 2 yorkies. they are annoying and very high mantenance, shedding, pooping all over the house even after being house broken. i don't want to have to deal with one of those.

small dogs are more inclined to bite at people than larger breed dogs.
I call it a napoleon complex that they have.

and as long as the baby is in the hose first, the dog will find its place in the hierarchy of the hosue hold Pack.

We have two kids and two dogs and the dogs know that they are at the bottom of the pole. Still loved but they don't out rank the kids, and don't challenge them either. you have to know that a dog is a dog and doesn't think like a human, but like a dog. if you understand that, it will help you and any dog get along much better.

Now that makes perfect since, i didn't want to call it the Napoleon complex i thought only people were be subject to that but i guess animals could inherit that trait as well. Perfect example mini Doberman Pinchers they have the biggest Napoleon complexes out there. I've see that first hand.

ha ha- no worries though, you don't need to yell at the dog- the b!tch won't let a dog mount if she's not ready
she'll bite him if he pisses her off (unless it bothers you, don't worry about correcting him)

Why would you want to get a dog that you're not able to take care of, and have to put him in daycare? That makes no sense. Get a dog when someone has the time and/or ability to take care of a puppy the way it needs to be.

daycare so that way they can help train it and its not just sitting there, it would only be in there long enough until it learns to go pee and poop, i think they said its a 12 wk course.

Does anyone have like a site or can point me in the direction to where i can show her the good and the bad and the statistics on owning a pit with kids? She is afraid and i want to helpd her not be afraid.

everyone we talk to that she tells "yea HE (me) wants a pit" thye always frown up because of the horrior stories with people getting bit etc. i'm keep finding myself on the definsive for the animal and i wnat some facts that i can give them.

whoever breeds these dogs for fighting should DIAFF (Fucking fire) its not fair to us people would want a loyal, playful pet.

Yeah they are expensive...I have a solid white one that was bought from them, it was only $800 but that was like 3yrs ago when they had just started...Nice dogs but not worth that much...You can find nice ones in the $600-900 price range...

heres my opinions on blue pitbulls ..

i think the blue pitbulls are the biggest in the pitbull breed besides the true pitbulls ( staffordshire terriers ) ..

plus with the nice coat people think its a " RARE " color for pitbulls ..

that is why so many people pay high prices for " blue pitbulls " ..

    i had my 1st (m) staffordshire terrier when i was 13 and my 1st (f) blue pitbull when i was 15 ..

when ever i use to walk my dogs people would also ask what kind of dogs they are ..

when i tell them my boy is a terrier and the girl is a pitbull there like oh really ..

then they were like when you have puppys let me know and i grab there numbers ..

thats when i was breeding but never there to deliver the puppys ..

my mom and dad use to do that while i was at school or out chilling with my friends ..

i use to make alot of money from the puppys and people would pay top dollars for the blues ..

they werent even registered to my knowledge i didnt know these things when i was young ..

i did know money came alot from blue pitbulls and then i started doing research on blue pitbulls when i was 15 ..

ive seen prices for like a thousand dollars and up for the blue pitbulls ..

i was only getting half of that and i felt stupid but o well who knows these things when your young anyway ..

so from the age 15 - 18 breeding the dogs and making money was a good thing ..

shit what kid wouldnt be happy when there making atleast 8 - 10 thousands dollar from a litter ..

then at the age of 18 was when i first heard about a pitbull attack ..

when people saw my dogs they would cross the street or walk the other directions ..

they didnt see the beauty in the pitbull breeds like i did because of all the attacks & fighting storys they heard about ..

anyway 2 dogs became 10 dogs and i sold them all for top dollars ..

then i stopped breeding and selling and having dogs ..

while doing all this i also made my money from breeding reptiles that was my hobby/money maker besides the dogs ..

i guess thats it about my opinion/ life on pitbulls and blues ..

Blues are special because og the genetics that have to be right ot make a blue.
Only Fawns and Blues have the genetics "Defect" that makes a true blue pitbull.
whats the "defcet"? a true bluse dog is not able to produce black pigment.
If a dog has plack pigment, nose eyelids, anything it dog is grey not blue.
So IMOP what you did by selling unregitered dogs to any and everyone does the breed just as much harm as the attack stories and myths.
I won't recognize a dog without registration papers because you have no idea what that dog truley is. it can look like a American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) and have Chow Chow in the blood line. I am sure in your day you have seen one dog out of the litter that looks like it is from another dog all together. inbreeding and "backyard"breeding have produced more unstalbe and ill willed dogs than ever. that bring about bad owners and horror stories and myths and the public apion that this breed is bad.

you are correct on the American Staffordshire Terrier being the beging of the blue gene, but the AMStaff is in its origins the same dog as the American Pit bull terrier. Same history, same blood, but differnt in two ways, one: The AKC will only recongnize the American Starforshire Terrier and not any dog with a differnt registered name, THe UKC will recongize both that AMstaff and APBT and resister them both as APBT, the ADBA is a APBT only residtry and the most common amung breeders. Two: the AKC AMStaff was selectivle breed for Show dogs. having "the look" to win at shows. while the APBT was breed for it's true qualities as a terrier, gameness being one of them and by all means have more "will do heart" than their counterpart

    more to come....

back to the genetics. The gene that makes a blue APBT is a defect black gene. this gene is carried by some black, blue, and fawn dogs. IT takes two of these genes to ensure a blue dog, if the dog has one non defect black gene then the dog may start off blue and turn black as the non defect gene is stronger. is you mix a blue APBTwith another APBT without teh defect gene in the blood line, then you will not get more blues, you will get that other color and blacks.

is it rare? no not anymore, but still not common to the world as other colors of APBT are. hard to make a blue? not if you know how to breed right (not just for color either).

blah blah blah , i am tired of hearing myself. look it up somewhere.
