    Default DSL question

We have Earthlink Highspeed DSL now, but we have 2 computers in the house and 1 Xbox. We have a Router-(http://www.westell.com/content/products/pdf/proline.pdf)
-... and here is the DSL modem that we have-
    (http://us.zyxel.com/web/product_fami...B-3A84F5A06405)
-I am just trying to figure out how to make 3 things work, Xbox, and 2 computers, obviously I am not an IT person...The Router has 4 Ports on the back,
    1.Power
    2.Phone
    3.Cat5-Ethernet connector
    4.USB

The modem has 3 ports on the back,
    1.Power
    2.Phone
    3.Cat5-Ethernet connector

The Router did not come with any instructions and neither did the modem...so yea...

am I missing something here?...any help would be greatly appreciated
    No Homo.

Sounds like you have two DSL modems there.

A router would have 5 cat5 ports and a power connection.

Well the westell is a router however... It's only a one port router. The only way that your going to be able to connect all three clients to your network is either

    A. Go buy a 4 port switch/hub from BestTry and plug the router into one of the 4 ports then the clients in the other 3

    Or

    B. Invest $55 into a Linksys broadband router plug your dsl modem into the wan port and the clients into the other 3 ports and call it a day.

    Hope this helped you.
