Considering Mr. Sapp screwed the pooch when he made an ass of himself during highly publicized concerts.......I'd say they didn't do too good a job with that IMO.

Too bad too....I liked Creed music.

well... POD started out as a christian band.. and then seemed so slowly drift towards being more just about positive music...

Creed always claimed that they were never a christian band.. actually Stapp ran away from the church at a young age(unless i'm mistaken)....

but bands that claim to be religious and aren't normally don't do very well anyway... cause the secular crowd doesn't except the religion.. and the religious know they are fake...

    u following me???

I guess it's no different than local businesses advertising they are Christian owned/friendly. Does that mean they prefer Christian customers? Will Christians get a discount? I have no idea. I think they end up alienating the business from the ENTIRE community. I guess it's unfair to say it's just a gimmick.

I've never been a fan of Creed, but didn't the guy end up in a porn video with Kid Rock while in a tour bus?

correct... but stapp was not a christian.. nor did they claim to be.. i've seen a couple interviews wherey they asked and stapp would always get pretty agitated(spl) and deny they were a christian band. ... and again a friend of mine read something about stapp running away from the church as he was younger. now i will agree a lot of there songs seemed to be christian based, but stapp always made an excuse of how they had nothing to do with god.

i agree.. u should be able to say whatever u want to say about any religion, but make ur own thread about it.. u don't have to get into every religious thread and make the same statement u always make...
