Default Pat Roberston nut job non christian quotes

    Feel free to add yours.

"You say you're supposed to be nice to the Episcopalians and the Presbyterians and the Methodists and this, that, and the other thing. Nonsense. I don't have to be nice to the spirit of the Antichrist. I can love the people who hold false opinions but I don't have to be nice to them."--Pat Robertson

Yeah Pat...sure. You better alter your Bible to fit that.

"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians." -- Pat Robertson

Wow! So all women *looks at wife* who want equal wages etc really secretly want to become communist, muderering, lesbi-witches?? I did not know that. Interesting.

    And...This one is truly insane!!....

"There is no such thing as separation of church and state in the Constitution. It is a lie of the Left and we are not going to take it anymore." --Pat Robertson

I think he left out "If I were dictator there would be no such thing......"

For futher insanity check out his predictions.

On the last one, Robertson is correct.
The phrase "separation of church and state" does not appear in the Constitution, but comes from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists. In the letter, Jefferson referred to a "wall of separation between church and state."

His statement does not pertain to just which wording/phrase is used in the constitution. Reading that into Roberstons statement is a huge mistake.

The concept of a "separation" of church and state IS constitutional.
You can all it whatever you wish but its there...and should be.
Any infringement on that "barrier" is a danger to ALL.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
