    Default Living overseas

Ever had the desire to move? I've been seriously thinking about moving to the U.K for a couple of years but I'd pretty much have to do it on my own since none of my family travels like that. At the least I've thought about going to Canada and seeing what it is like there, kind of tired of the south I guess.

If it wasnt for the cold I would move to canada. I lived in brazil 12 years, came here, and ive lived about 3 months in germany. It will open your mind and by learning other cultures you will mature as a person and become a better human being. Canada or Europe are good choices.

And that is mainly why I would want to move, to open my mind to other cultures. I moved here from Alaska, now I'm used to it here and kind of anxious to experience something else. How well did you get along speaking english in Germany?

i speak german lol. but id say at least 60% of germans know a little bit of english. i wouldnt recommend going there if u dont know german unless u are willing to learn it/take classes. dont go there and expect them to speak english to u, they will get pissed.

I plan on moving to another country for a couple years of my life. It'll probably be Germany since I can speak the language.

European culture is so different from the United States, everybody is a lot more level and responsible. As long as you can deal with a little bit of socialism in your life it would be nice.

Do you speak any other languages?

I know a bit of spanish but no German at all, I figured the language would be a barrier so moving somewhere where english is used commonly is where I would want to be.
