    Default I HATE HOBBYTOWN

I tried not to, but they just kept pushing me. And the reason I don't like them is because I'm different. Okay, I get it. Nobody ANYWHERE NEAR HERE carries Yokomo parts. I get it. I live with it, I've moved on. But it seems like...NO, it doesn't SEEM like, IT IS!!! Every EFFIN time I go in there, the FIRST thing out of their mouth is "We don't carry Yokomo parts." Okay. This is the FIRST thing that pisses me off. CUZ YOU DO CARRY SOME YOKOMO STUFF!!! But, it's just like wheels and tires. No biggie. Okay. Nothing for the chasis. So, I get it. However, I NEVER come in there looking for something specific. It's usually a screw or nut or something that has stripped out from all the dorifto I do. And EVERY EFFIN TIME, they act all RETARDED like they have no idea. I can't understand why they're like that. I don't get upset. I don't act beligerant or "niggerish". I come in calm and collected and simply ask for some assistance. But they grudgingly NEVER give it to me like I got the EFFIN plague just because I have a Yok car. And even AFTER the rudeness, I still remain calm and sometimes even pick up a part from them and rig it to fit my car ANYWAY. I don't get it. Did I piss'em off when I came in among their touring cars and expensive planes and said I will be going sideways instead of in a generally straight line? Was THAT what pissed them off. It's like they can't wait to be rude to ME. I can't even blame it on race or the way I dress cuz I never look like I'd be rude or a problem customer. MATTER FACT, I'm usually smiling when I come in there. And yet, I always get the shaft. And the part that really pisses me off is before I can even get a word out, they're QUICK to relay to me that they DON'T CARRY YOKOMO PARTS. Then, it's the could shoulder for me. What the hell did I do? I've only been there a few times. Is it cuz I'm an out of towner? I mean, I REALLY DON'T GET IT. Well, that's it. I'm done with them. I refuse to support any place where I'm treated like my money isn't worth anything. I understand you don't carry specific parts for MY chasis, but being as how you've (more than likely) been in r/c for longer than I have, I'm sure you could occassionally shed some wisdom or at least point me in the right direction. But NO. I can't even get that. So EFF YOU HOBBYTOWN. EFF THE HOLE YOU CAME OUT OF. AND EFF YOUR PARTS. I'M DONE. Back to the internet for me.

There's been a new innovation when it comes to writing in the English language. It's called the PARAGRAPH! USE THEM!

Okay. Let me address some of the stuff. For the hobby mart suggestions...thanx. I'll check it out.

Also, I don't plan on going there. Not because they don't carry Yok specific parts. I just think they're asses. I mean, they carry a lot of parts and I can usually find something I need (or want) there. I just think their customer service sux. That's all.

Hey Ninetyfour...here's the thing about this whole paragraph innovation you were speaking of. The purpose of them is to change subjects within a centralized theme. Hence, on THIS present post, I have three paragraphs. I'm addressing 3 different issues all under the central them of responding. However, in my original post, there was no variation of subject. It was all under the topic of me hating Hobbytown. Sure, I could've taken more time to make it grammatically correct to appease any of those English majors out there, such as yourself. But then, one must ask, what's the purpose. I mean, it's a rant...on an informal internet thread. Paragraphs aren't needed. But, thanks for your imput. Next time you have a thought, keep it to yourself. The world will be a better place for it.

To be honest, they are a bunch of assholes there. There is this one redneck who is so anal about rules it makes me sick...there was this cool black guy there, though. He said he was building a Supra...he also didn't treat the customers like crap like the redneck did...

Try B&H Hobbies in Snellville on Hwy 78. They have everything hobby related and could probably order you Yoko parts from the west coast, and if you had a return, then you wouldn't have to ship back to the west coast. They are the most well stocked and knowledgable hobby store I have been to in GA.

I used to have a rare JDM/Canadian Yokomo "Honda NSX" that I bought from a hobby store owner once. The only place I could find any parts were from Cali and the parts weren't even exact. That car was cool as hell though and looked so authentic. It also had a mid-engine with beltdrive .

I just don't understand why people without any helpful imput are even responding. I don't like Hobbytown. I was ranting about it. SOME folks actually gave some helpful suggestions but others felt the need to brain fart all over my thread.:jerkit: Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah well. such is IA.

You know what I like most about you; innovation. You think outside the box. You took the time to break down my entire last post by bits and pieces and then, retaliate individually. That's just the type of things you don't see in today's asshat antics. It's witty and refreshing. You are a true veteran at this. Hats off, guy.
The blinker fluid thing was great. Not as funny as when I first heard that back in the 90's, but still a classic line. And in that fashion. YOU'RE as useful as flexnar valve retainers and flux capacitor lcd screens.

That's trademark stuff right there. Most of these young tools could learn a lot from ole stretch. There's really an art to being that much of douche. Good times. Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood times.
