The proof is there...if you do not wish to see it or admit it, thats your choice. From the evidence of Creation to the very concience we ALL have, to the Bible truths that we can prove, and on and on..there more then abundant proof. Of course its no accident that a measure of faith must be excercised. God does require belief, faith, and an excercise of that faith as a test of our loyalty to Him. Sadly, those who dont have it or obtain it won't enjoy anything beyond the misery of this world that we call life. You don't have to believe me if you wish but time will tell, I am more then certain.
Its interesting to me that the very things the Bible predicts about this and the human condition are exactly coming to pass. More proof for any descerning eye.![]()
Time will not tell. Shit will just turn black.
I wonder how many athiest were out to prove that God doesn't exist and ended up finding truth in scripture?? I don't know, but the Bible and it's history (alot of it being Jewish) gives more than enough proof for the "common man" like us all. It's a wonder why people don't look at that and try to find a word spelled wrong and say "HA! SEE, SEE!! I TOLD YOU GOD DOESN'T EXIST!! SO NEITHER DOES JESUS!!"

When it comes down to it, people will just have opposing beliefs and there is nothing you can do about it. Ok, they've heard our side of the story, we've answered questions, etc...but the choice is theirs to either accept it or disregard it.
Christians need to learn to accept that you're not going to win everyone over. Instead of always trying to work them over, just be their friend like everyone else.
Voya is very good people. Helped me with my clutch master cylinder when I first moved up here. He was the first person I met up here. Does it matter that he doesn't believe what I do? Nope...I'd kick back a beer with him anytime. More Christians should be willing to befriend people than turn them away.

The fact is that if Jesus Himself came to the GA Dome for a week of seminars and gave proof that He existed and worked requested miracles and responded to ANY question asked there would STILL be a majority of people who would refuse to believe.Originally Posted by Romeyo07

Its clear from the Bible that God wishes to make an utter end of evil yet save anyone who DESIRES it. He will not save anyone who does not desire it. He has seen fit to give evidence of His Creative power and existence, He has given His sure Word of prophecy, He has given principles that can be tested, He will comfort anyone who desires Him by His Spirit etc etc etc In order to ensure that an utter end of sin and evil is made He requires all believers to not only have a measure of faith but to act upon that faith.
I can tell you from personal experience that the goal of any sincere parent is to gain the love, respect, & obedience of their children, not only when theyre in the room watching in person but when theyre absent. Its no different with our Father, our Creator, He wants our love, respect & obedience even when He's not there in person where we can see Him. When I come home and find one of my children disobeying because I wasn't there in person I reward them accordingly. I give them exactly what they asked for. Same is true with God.
I don't see what is gained by a disbelief if God. Its clear to me as a history buff that mans way is ALWAYS destructive, and it never works out. We in the USA enjoy much that the majority of the world does not. At any given time the majority of the world is in poverty, violence, war, starvation, genocide, etc etc etc etc. Even our own free and rich society is largely given to violence. Given that fact, why anyone would choose to think that mans way will work out and is best is beyond me.
As its been stated before, there is nothing to be lost by belief in Christ and everything to be gained. On the contrary there is everything to be lost by disbelief and nothing to be gained. No one has ever shown me one real benefit from disbelief. Regardless, I respect the God given right of choice of others and as the Bible says, at some point one should simply cast the dust of their feet and move on. And as you have said, be a friend.![]()

Most Jewish people that I've met (and worked with) are white. Just not European.
Yeah lemme know what time. I coach my son's soccer team and we've gotta game Sat. Morning. Other than that, I don't think anything else is going on.Originally Posted by TheSnail

Ethnic Jews and Isrealis tend to be of "ruddy white" complexion. Darker then say an Irishman but not anything like an African.Originally Posted by Hulud
Of course when people intermarry there are then other varieties of color shades.
they aqrent what you would call white, cause people always refer to the european complex of whiteOriginally Posted by metalman

Who's to say that it wasn't a diversified world then (skin pigmentation, not nationality, etc.) Interracial mixing has never been uncommon.Originally Posted by Hulud
Ethnic Jewish blood lines have been fairly well preserved throughout the 2k years since Christ. Such people have a tendancy to marry only their own kind, even cousins. The ethnic jews and palestinians I know pretty much all practice this. I think its pretty safe to say that Jesus looked pretty much like the average ethnic jew or palestinian does today. In all honesty it really doesnt matter much how dark or light his skin was. We know he was born an ethnic jew, that should speak for itself.![]()
true, but a white jesus and a white middle east doesnt make sense is all im saying in this threadOriginally Posted by Romeyo07

I didn't know that political boarders determined peoples ethnicity.
I think its due to our common conception of what a middle-eastern person looks like. We think Habeeb from the corner store, when it's probably Moshe Goldstein from the law office.Originally Posted by Hulud
