ok, gotcha, you just said physical

That brings me to my original question....why Christianity? Is it a threat...or is there something of value in it that someone's trying to hide or dismiss?

I'm just trying to spark good conversation.
the reason i can tell is because most christians are hypocritical, i mean everyone is, but when people claim to be christian the morals and ideals of the religion should be followed. most christians say you should do a certain thing but yet do it themselves.

this is the thing that turned me away from chrisitianity and the thought that i dont need to identify with anyone to be a good person.

    but thats beyond the point.

i mean most christians judge others based on others actions, when they should be judging themselves and trying to make themselves better not finding faults in others. im not bashing anyone im just saying it as ive seen

Why are you allowing our Fathers children to turn you away from Him? These are imperfect human beings and you are judging the Father based on His children's action. Accept the Son and live your life according to what you believe is good in the eye's of the Father.

True. However not eveyone that claims to be Christian actually is.
The Bible says "ye shall know them by their works..." and as you put it, if you say one thing and do another then you are not what you say.

All I can say to that is this...dont let the hypocracy of others get in your way. Their lack of practical application of Christian principles is their problem.
THEY will have to answer for that.
We are all individual citizens in the kingdom of God. We're not judged or 'saved' by groups or affiliation so youre correct on that point in a way. We're judged by our own works, not the quantity but the QUALITY.
I wouldnt let any person or group of persons keep me away from a personal relationship with my Creator. Neither would I throw the baby out with the bath water. Make sense? Not judging you at all or speculating about you. Just addressing your point.

Sadly this is also true. Again, not everything/everyone labeled as 'christian' is in fact Christian in practice. The Bible says "Judge not that YE be not judged..." and the way you judge others is the way you will be judged...Christians should remember that!
