    Default CAD?

Hey I am about to start designing offroad toyota front and rear bumpers and I would like to design them in a CAD like program. I believe this is the right thing so correct me if Im wrong. Basicly I will need to be able to create a 3d image of a bent circular pipe and square tubing. I have tried messing with paint and crap but I think its not gonna work either way unless its done right with a CAD or like program. Anyone have a program that can do that or thinks CAD is capable of this and can get me a copy for cheap or fee?

See if you can I also still need to test that program that you used for your website design.

Do you know how to use a CAD program? Extruding multiple curved objects and stuff isn't exactly a beginner thing...

Yeah, it is not something you can just jump in and do. Now autodesk Inventor is pretty striaght foward and easy to use.

lol, i've been using CAD programns since i was 13 and AutoCAD since 1995...ugh i feel old Unless you're using some sort of plug-in i don't know about doing it with autocad would be insanely time consuming and near unproductive for anything but 2D or isometric views

i've got a brand new, unopened box of different Autodesk programs. its the actual program and everything, it's just that it only allows a one year term on each. account numbers or passwords or whatever can easily be found over the internet to continue using the programs but yea, all brand new cd's of:

    1. Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2006
    2. Autodesk Viz 2006
    3. Autodesk AutoCAD Revit Series 8.1
these are the actual cd programs sent from the company itself, valued over a crap load of money, but im willing to give it up for cheap. PM me if ur interested.

Been using AutoCAD since I was 13 (11 years now)...it's cake. Play around with the samples they have, should give you more insite on what it can do.
