    Default RC Drift

This may sound stupid but what is the difference between the rc drift cars and regular rc cars. They are both rwd right? So what are the posi rear end or something?

the only difference in the 2 are the tires and suspension. I have a tamiya tt-01 awd with a 27 turn motor. All wheel drive and pvc are the best way to rc drift. its really not that much of a difference. If yall are intersted in getting into rc drift, look for an all wheel drive car not a rear wheel drive

any AWD car can drift, from an HPI pro3, to a tamiya like they said above. all you have to do is take your wheels wit you, go to lowes, and get PVC pipe that fits snugly over the wheels, then wrap them with electrical tape, and slide cut PVC on adn go

It depends on if your talking electric drift or nitro dift cars?

I know nitro drift cars are mid engine cars unlike the normal rear engine design

Electric, PVC wheels, and your set. I think electric is better for the sliding cause they have more torque. but i could be wrong, never tried it with gas motor.

Spent a couple minutes fixing up my C6 Corvette body...I cut out the whole front window to get more air flow to the engine. I also taped off my slick tires with electrical tape. The rear tires have more meat than the front so I guess we will see what happens

ohh and I reinforced the front, rear, and all wheel wells a bit more if you get my "drift" lol

r/c drifting is just as expensive (relatively speaking) as REAL drifting. A GOOD car is going to run you over 100 bux. If you wanna maintain it, you're going to spend money. To get GOOD, you're gonna hit stuff. The only thing cheap about it is the PVC+electrical tape. I did that. Good times. Goooooooooooooooooooood times. Matter fact, I'm about to wrap my Yok tires in e-tape to get some more life outuvem. They're so done.
