    Default Trojan Virus Help

    i did a norton virus scan on my computerand i found a trojan horse.

    I can't remove it or quaratine it

    can anyone help? :confused:

    the free version of AVG got rid of mine , spybot helps too.norton didnt do shit for me so i got this free stuff and it works better.

    you have to run your comptuer in safemode to get rid of it. What version of windows are you using? i believe when you turn on your computer press f8 or one of the function keys to bring up boot menu. After that choose safe mode, then onces it's all up open norton and run the scan again. It SHOULD delete it. If not then you'll have to research the cure for it. If you are having trouble finding another cure then pm me or something i'll help ya out.

    yeah but i'm giving him another suggestion then telling him to do that. it's not like i'm just telling himto just research.... gavehim a suggestion first then do what they said.

    safe mode + microsoft antispyware scan. just download the beta version

    ok, i restarted it and started it up and presses F10, to go to PC system recovery.
    and after that the computer was running fine after that and i was woundering if that was good or not.

    i just dowloaded kazaa, and got some crazy ass pop ups all over the damn place, and it totallyfucked my computer over. so i just did a system restore back to the settings from yesterday. it fixed it. can you do system restore for viruses?

    i think so b/c idid the system restore on my computer & its running fine now
