    I really gave up on the Bible. I have read the ENTIRE thing (I had to for my grandparents' sake) but it has been a while, so I really don't remember much about the book of "Job". Why do you suggest this to me?

    I am by no means some bible thumping evanglest. Hell, I curse regulary and can't remember the last time I went to church. So excuse me if I come off a little strong. I don't intend to be that way. Somtimes it's hard to express 1's self in written word. Hell, isn't 90% of communication non-verbal?

    the book of Job is about "Job" a wealthy man ith a big family and a all-round succesful guy. The "devil"(whatever) bets God he can break Job's faith of God. So The "devil" brings a plague on Job, his livestock is killed, his wife and children are killed and Job gets boils all-over his body. But Job does not denounce God and remains faithful and he is rewarded.

    Exactly!!! That is one of the reasons why I don't want profesional help. If it is considered a "mental" problem, then the cure is probably going to be the "mind over matter" type. Which is what I have been working on. Seems to help, but sometimes, nothing can stop the voices.
