    I joined but have not been able to upload any video's? Anyone been successful?

    I believe there is a confirmation period that usually takes a several days.

    it shows an error when uploading...and it never asks me about a title or description

    Try sending Google an error report or contact them. It also might be some problem with your browser compatibility.
