Well when the inspector came out.. he wrote up a full report on what they need to fix.. previously before the inspection they(the current owners) gave me a $200 allowence to have the carpet professionally cleaned.. well upon further inspectiont he carpet will need to be replaced.. ($400).. So when we went through the list of things the inspector found.. it will cost between $500-700 depending on who fixes it (The current owners now live in Florida so they dont wanna come back to fix it they would rather give me money).. So since I am having to come out of pocket to fix the carpet.. I asked for $1100 allowence to fix everything they fucked up and now has to be replaced.. they came back with a counteroffer of $500.. and to me thats crap... So I made another offer of $1000.. and if they go any lower than $890...Im walking
