Ippilitos - on Barrett and in Alpharetta
Their rolls are the best - the rest of the food is also very good.
I love Maggiano's the one in chicago is the best.

Olive Garden and Carrabas work well for me.
I went to Provino's once and didn't like it. The rolls sucked and the lasagna was okay at best.
Salvatore's (in Roswell) ... the best 'home style' Italian in GA.
There is a new place on Sugarloaf/5 forks in the publix shopping center called DA VINCHIS they got some killer veal![]()
If you get lasagna at an italian resturant, you don't belong in this thread. Thats like going to Longhorns, and getting a burger.Originally Posted by Ran Kizama

I don't understand how people prefer olive garden or provinos over carrabbas. If you think its a rip then try one of their grilled items at the top of the menu and you'll change your mind. I eat there once a week and I'd agree that it does cost a little more than some places, but the quality is much higher than any of the other restaurants listed.
Anthony's Italian Kitchen on Roswell Rd. right next to Psycho Tattoo owns everything listed in this thread hands down... Olive garden... lmao that place sucks.

We had a GENERAL MANGER of a Johnny Carino's in a few weeks ago and he came up to me after his dinner and had NOTHING but Compliments for his server and Our Store. He loved the food and the atmosphere also the he said that the service was the best he had had in a LONG time.

There is this little restaurant behind central gwinnett high school called Gennaros i think it used to be called Grotta Azzura. that place was the absolute best when it came to Italian fine dining. It was a tad on the expensive side but absolutely worth it. but now my favorite place is going to have to be Perugino's in Winder. not as expensive, still great food, and the service is uncomparable.
Carrabbas Italian Grill!!! consumer reports rated it the best italian food in the us... i know, i work there....
