Alot of DVDs are doing the same thing but I strip the protection on the Cds and DVDs so I can "back them up." I never play new CDs or DVDs on my normal PC. I have a backup PC I use to rip media and I never connect to the net with said computer. There is always a work around. You just have to find it.

Thanks for the info!

I didn't know about the spyware issue. That is crazy and I hope Sony gets the $hit sued out of them!!!

Anyhow, is there anyway to rip these protected disc to the hard drive as an unprotected mp3 w/192kbps? I can not burn the cd to an mp3 compilation as it sits on my pc
