pop ups and viruses...
i got on my computer this morning and i got a virus i guess?
i never get on AIM anymore, because my last computer died a horrible death of viruses.
but i did last nite.
and some stupid fag that has a girlfriend that got my sn off of here was trying to talk to me,
and i found out he had a girlfriend, so i don't talk to him anymore, atleast not how he was talking to me.
and he sent me some link, and i know that's what messed up my computer.
any suggestions on what to do?
run a virus scan....
Maybe he didn't send the link, but it sent itself. Run an online virusscan, like Travis said. Google for a good one, search for Housecall. If you have virus software, boot into safe mode and run it. If you have any questions, post up, someone will answer them, there's plenty of us nerds on here.

i used a mcafee free scan...
guess that was my problem?

What you reall need to do is it you want to download alot of stuff from online, you need to go buy a Virus Protection Software. would recommend Norton Anti-Virus, it has a good firewall, and will protect against anything and has a live update system for everytime there is a new virus out there!

haha. yeah, the mcafee thing didn't really work.
