Yes it was senseless, but it could have at least been stopped if someone was carrying. Same with the Batman instance, if ONE person in the theatre had shot at him, I bet he would have taken off running.
And who exactly would have stopped him? An armed teacher? I would pull my kids out of school the day they decide to let teachers carry. The SRO? He can't be in a bunch of places at the same time.

This incident is the exact same scenario as the theater massacre. The suspect was hell bent on destruction with the risk of dying in the process. No one person would have been able to stop either. If one person would have shot at him, it would have turned out different........bullshit. Both occurrences happened and ended exactly the way they were going to from the beginning whether one cop was there or a whole militia. They wouldn't have ran. To assume cross fire would solve something show me that I would not want to be around you if you were carrying a loaded firearm.
