So my dad and his buddies would pull into the lot and light em up. After 30 seconds or so, the store owner would come out and wave them on. Dad would say "Thank you, sir. Yessir!" And head out. No harm, no foul, just kids having fun.

Nowadays, as soon as you pull into the lot it seems the clerk would be on the phone with the police, and you would get tossed in jail. I understand the world is a different place now, and I guess this is the result.
I'm saying in general, my friend. There's places right now where you can go do a burn out in a parking lot and roll on. Thing is, though, and this goes back to my people are more rebellious now-a-days comment, people today want to take advantage of it. They want to participate in the illegal aspects of life. Also, your example isn't disproving my comment above. Going onto private property and doing a burn out with owner's consent is a lot of different than going out in the Kroger parking lot and doing because you want to. You dig?
