Default Watch Collectors ? Like watches ?

I haven't seen a watch thread on IA in awhile.. a search shows some old threads and didnt feel like bumping old threads..

How many watch people we have here ? back in the day we had a few.. post some pics..I'm a huge watch guy.. I hope to one day get my hands on a Tag Carrera..

I have a few types, Invictas, Guess, Movado, Casio, Seiko, Tag and others.. I don't care how cheap they are or how expensive.. as long as they look good to me.. Im good to go..

I just bought a new Tissot last week. I love watches. The invicta pieces are very nice especially for the money. Is your blue/blue invicta the 9094?

I think it may be one of the next pieces i pick up. Ive really wanted a submariner homage watch and the invicta line is usually highly recommended.

Is good watch.. Not high end, however, for the price is good. Plus is automatic, brownie points.

Out of the watches I own one of my favorite is this one:

I never understood why they would sell such a nice watch with a plastic "crystal" - I'm barely able to wear it because the "crystal is not in the best shape.

The best bang for the buck watch I have is the Tissot PRC200. It's built like a tank.

One of my dream watches...Tag Heuer Monaco V4. It's a belt driven, automatic watch.

    Hmmmmm

I have a couple Mavados (from a decade ago when I was a Mavado freak) and Invictas.... Been wearing the Invictas as of late, just because it is hard to beat the bang for the buck they give you. Plus, if I fuck it up at work... Who cares?

I also share the dream of owning that Tag, but I don't sweat it. Either it will happen for me (at the right price) or it won't. At the end of the day, it's just a watch (as much as it pains me to say).

Yup, it's my "daily" watch. The "flame-fusion" face is damn near scratch-proof and indestructible. It was their "Pro-Diver" Model #0069 (Yeeeaaayaaaa) which BTW: I would never trust a "diver" watch without a screw in crown and not a push-pull crown like this has. But let's face it... I'm no fucking diver either, so it's a non-issue.

My dream is a model 980.031 “Night Dive” watch. Mostly because it bridges during the transition from Heuer to Tag Heuer and you can find dial faces with both markings.

And it was in a James Bond film, but was worn by Timothy Dalton so that's not a big selling point.

Yup, with a glow in the dark dial face. It's damn near impossible to find one that doesn't look like it's been beaten up. The few I have ever found are in poor condition, the ones I found in good condition I could never afford at the time.
