Cigar aficionados?
I'm not talking about black 'n milds or swishers. I've been enjoying Monte Cristos for years but they've gone up AGAIN. A #2 cost me almost $20 bucks today. They were $10 last week..lol. Actually, even the Macanudos went up. I guess I'll switch to A. Fuente. Anyone else love cigars?
Daviddoffs are nice, but i really like mild H. Uppmans.
And the Kahlua minis.
I love cigars...favorite so far is Al Capones(sp) and Romeo and Juilets!
I used to like them alot, but it doesnt seem i have an hour to sit around and smoke one anymore..

Had a macanudo portifino tongiht, forgive my spelling, i am tired..lol... my humidor, has about 5-6 cubans, consisting of Romeo Y Julieta Churchill, Cohiba, 2 Monte Cristo's. And on the sub 40 dollar a stick side, I have some macs, this ACID thing (have yet to try, probably not that good lol ) and 1 or two more i am forgeting. The cubans are starting to get a little old, i need to smoke them, its just hard to find the time to smoke a nice stick like that.

I'd like to get my hands on a nice cuban. how hard is it to get one? how much do they run. i enjoy cigars just dont do it often.
Real cubans, like the ones i have are 40-50 dollars a stick, if you buy them in the US. I bought them in Jamica for about 12-15 a stickthere are some quite good dominican cigars for the sub 12 dollar a stick range that you can buy all day long in the US.

macanudo portifino is one of my current favs. its nice and light, which i have kinda liked latly. Romeo Y Julieta has some nice dominicans, Cohiba is good, darker though. Just read up, cigar aficinando has a website that has lots of info. Padron, has an excellent line up of cigars, that are inexpensive (under 10 to over 20) and have sticks for every flavor, light dark with maduro or normal with a range of fillers. just kinda read around, see what sounds good.

I like Cohiba's and Macanudo's quite a bit but they're just a tad out of my price range...
which sticks? each stick is very diffrent and i know Mac provides a few different lines.
side note,
think i am about to try ordering online a couple sticks, try it out and see if they are fresh.

RyJ's are great, i have only had Cuban Churchills, not the dominican ones u buy here, might have to give those a try also.

Macanudos, Cohibas, and Romeo Y Juliets and a couple of knockoff Cubans are all that I've smoked fine cigar wise but its fun and relaxing.

dam... talking about this makes me want one... anyone got any advice. ive never been really big in it, i want somethign smooth and light, but i want one that will give me time to tlak with teh friends and shit???
^^^ Macanudo Portifino, my fav so far for a mild cigar, my avg burn time: 60-90min tops. If you want longer burn 90-120min go with a Churchill shaped stick. Go to a nice cigar shop and ask the guy there, they a great resources of information that are very underused. You really could go find a good one urself, go by the smell, color, and wrapper of the cigar. good luck, i am ready for a nice cigar tonight.

Macanudos are excellent, but damn, I did just get some nice Cohibas (Cubans, not the Dominicans)

Macs are a very good starter smoke. It's very mild and doesn't leave an aftertaste. But of course as time goes by, you want something more substantial. A dark wrapper and filler is wonderful after a steak. Now you could be cheap and get some black n' milds..lol. I think they are wrapped in paper. BTW, any of you own a humidor?
yes, i have a spanish cedar with italian leather humidor. its ok. might want to upgrade somtime. I think it holds 100-150sticks, somthing like that. I would agree pharm, macs have a great line of mild cigars. when i want somthing medium bodied i turn to RyJ's, Cohiba, Padron, or a billion other companies

i actually just had a cuban romeo and juliet that my best friend brought back on a cruise... dam there strong. its kinda hard to explain them, i think im gonna go out and get something different.
^^^ ahhh i hear ya, we should get together and smoke a cuban sometime soon. it sucks having 4 more and smoking them by myself.
