Trolling Motors + Jon Boats

I've been trying to find a deal on a jon boat + trailer, but after i do find one, i want to get a trolling motor under 400 brand new. I might end up with, at most, a 14' jon boat and maybe 5-6 people on it.
I was looking at the Traxxis but i dont know which model i should get or pounds of thrust. I don't want to speed but 10-15mph sounds good. traxxis 55 or 45?

4-5 people... look for a small pontoon boat with a shot motor on it. it will be slow but it ill be comfortable.

yeah most jon boats wouldnt be good for more than 2 people. gotta have room to cast and store your tackle. im gonna invest into a 14' with a small trolling motor here soon just for myself.
